If I don’t give my best effort at everything, God will say I’m not good enough for heaven.
I’ve had intrusive thoughts since I was a young girl. However, I didn’t know these constant ruminations had a name or that I have OCD until I was an adult. Therapy is a great tool, but at the end of the day, it’s just me and my nagging thoughts. I know recovery means accepting that intrusive thoughts will always be in my sticky mind. But having such thoughts does not mean that I have to believe them as true.
